Launching Rockets

Eddie has gotten into building and launching rockets. We have launched several around our house, but there are too many trees and we have lost several because of how high they go.

Last weekend, we took him to his school parking lot, a lot less trees, and let him launch there. He launche two different rockets 5 times. We were able to recover all of them.

Here Eddie was trying to catch the rocket as it came down. The look on his face is so funny!

This rocket is called the Eggs Calibar. It has a place at the top to hold a raw egg. Eddie is loading it to get it ready for launching.

This is the smaller rocket that he launched. Ed estimated it went about 300 feet in the air.

Blast off!!

The egg did not survive...both times.
