Picnic Table

Ed, Eddie and Dustin built a picnic table for the hunting camp. It is a really nice, very sturdy table.

This is the top of the table.

Band Perfomance in Uniforms

Last night, Kaila had her first football game with everyone in complete uniform. They all looked so nice.

It is really hard to get a good picture of her, because the field and stands are far away. This first one of her is during the performance.

This is her marching in at the beginning of the performance.

I am not sure which one is Kaila, but she is in this group of yellow flags somewhere!

After the game I walked over to the band room and followed the drummers. They played the whole way off the field to the band room and then did a performance there. After they finished with their drums, they all ran in the band room and came out with garbage cans and wooden chairs. They started to play on them! It was fun to watch them. They are a really good drumline.

Boy Scouts

Eddie had his first Boy Scout pack meeting. This is a meeting where all the dens come together to receive awards and learn about different things going on. Eddie got several awards (he had a whole baggie full of them). This is his last year in Boy Scouts, and if he earns all of the awards a Boy Scout can earn, he will get the Super Scout awards. He is well on his way, I think he only has 3 more to get! This picture is of him receiving his awards from the Cub Master.

Kailas First Home Football Game Perfomance

Last night we went to Kailas first home football game. It was a nice evening for a football game. Her high school won, 28-14. We did have one player injured in the third quarter that had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. I don't know his condition at this point.

The arrows will point out Kaila since it is hard to pick out which girl in black she is.

It was a good halftime show. They only have about half of the show ready. I can't wait to see the whole thing!

Their uniforms are not in yet, so that is why they are perfoming in all black. They will have different colored flags too, but they are not done yet either.

This picture just cracks me up! No her legs are not really dirty, this is her tan line!!! She has special dance shoes that she wears and this what her feet look like. She wears gloves on her hands, but it is not as noticeable as her feet!

Jimmy Buffet Concert

Ed and I drove to Virginia on Saturday to spend the weekend and see Jimmy Buffet in concert. The concert was at the venue where Jay works, so it was close to Peg and we got to spend some time with her and Jay. Shelley and Randy drove down from PA on Sunday. We hung out by the pool or whirlpool on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday evening we went to Peg and Jays place and had a cookout and visited.

Monday we went to Peg and Jays for brunch (Jay was already at work). We left their place around 2:30pm to get to the concert venue. We tailgated until about 7pm and then headed into the pavilion. Jay was able to come out and see us for a little bit. He got us a GREAT parking space and we were close to the enterance so it was quick escape after the concert was over.

Me, Peg and Shelley before the concert started. If you can see all the canopies behind us, there were a ton of people there. I think I heard 25,000! We had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

By the way, Dustin watched the kids for us and did a great job!
