Kelli started her freshman year of college at KSU. This was the living room before she moved in.
Her room had her name on it and her roommates name. She did not know her roommate, but she seems pretty nice.
Her dorm room has a small kitchenette and then both her and her roommate have a separated bed room and they share a bathroom. Her colors of her room are gray and yellow.
Kaila, Eddie and I went to visit today and take her to lunch. We also did some shopping for curtains and some other items that she needed for her room and school.
She has a nice desk and a chair that rocks. The shelf on top of the desk is awaiting her TV.
Her room is not real big, but plenty big enough for her. She seems to like the college life, but I miss her!

Kaila's 21st Birthday
Kaila turned 21 on August 1st. I cant believe that I have a child that old already! It seems like just yesterday she was a toddler!!
She was working that day at the school for her senior year of college, but came home for lunch. We let her open presents then.
She got some things for the school year, lunch box, big Tervis water bottle and money for clothes for the school year.
For dinner we went to Olive Garden and then came home and had cake!

Another Driver in the Family!
Eddie got his Learners Permit in June. So far he is doing pretty good with driving. He has to keep the permit for 1 year and 1 day before he can get his drivers license.

Kelli's Graduation Party
Today was Kelli's high school graduation party. It was a beautiful day for it.
I made Kelli a quilt from her t-shirts that she had in preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school.
Eddie chillin!
Kelli will be attending Kennesaw State University in the fall. The mascot is the Owls.
Cupcakes with caps and tassels on top.
The kids doing the sorority squat. Kaila taught them how!
Even Ethel got into the party mode!
Shelley, Bob and Cindy were here to celebrate!
Kelli had a few friends that came too

Kelli's Senior Prom
Tonight is Kelli's Senior Prom. She looked beautiful in her red dress. It was a beautiful day for a prom!
Robert, her date, picked her up at the house.
I did her hair for her, not the best, but not bad! She has a ton of hair!!
Kelli was not sure about how to pin Roberts flower on, but she made it look like she did!
Robert did great putting Kelli's flower on!
A group of Kelli's friends met at another subdivision for pictures before going to dinner and then to the prom.
More friends showed up!

Tallulah Falls, Georgia
Over the weekend, Eddie and I went to Tallulah Falls, Georgia. We hiked the trails and had lunch.
There were several kayakers and we enjoyed watching them from 900 feet above.
Tallulah Falls is a series of falls that drop a total of 490 feet in one mile. It is composed of six separate falls including the l'Eau d'Or, Tempesta, Hurricane and the Bridal Veil falls.
There were many overlooks along the trail to see the gorge.
In this picture you can see where the water made a hole through the rock.
It was a beautiful day for a hike!
This picture is looking down from the suspension bridge that is 80 feet above the gorge.
Eddie thought it was funny to JUMP on the bridge when we were the only ones on it! Fortunately for me, several people got on it and he had to stop jumping. We had to walk 310 steps down to the bridge. Because of the kayakers, we could not go up the other side, but had to climb back up the 310 steps!
