Tallulah Falls, Georgia

Over the weekend, Eddie and I went to Tallulah Falls, Georgia.  We hiked the trails and had lunch.

There were several kayakers and we enjoyed watching them from 900 feet above.

Tallulah Falls is a series of falls that drop a total of 490 feet in one mile.  It is composed of six separate falls including the l'Eau d'Or, Tempesta, Hurricane and the Bridal Veil falls.
There were many overlooks along the trail to see the gorge.
In this picture you can see where the water made a hole through the rock.
It was a beautiful day for a hike!
This picture is looking down from the suspension bridge that is 80 feet above the gorge.
Eddie thought it was funny to JUMP on the bridge when we were the only ones on it!  Fortunately for me, several people got on it and he had to stop jumping.  We had to walk 310 steps down to the bridge.  Because of the kayakers, we could not go up the other side, but had to climb back up the 310 steps!

This is the Bridal Veil falls.
