Happy New Year!

My goal this year is to keep up my blog a little better then in years past.  Since I have not taken many pictures in 2013 yet, I will post some pictures of Christmas 2012.

We had a great Christmas, even if I had to work on Christmas day.  I have been a nurse for 26 years and this is the first Christmas day I have had to work.  We moved our celebration up one day and had a great one!

This is my Wendall August ornament tree in the living room.  The girls helped me to decorate it.
Each year, the kids get a new ornament.  I try to get an ornament that relates to something the kids did that year.  Kailas ornament was from her sorority that she joined this year, Kamma, Sigma, Sigma.

Roxy always likes to sit on things, paper, clothes, etc.  I guess she is just to pretty to sit on the floor!
Kellis ornament had her name on it spelled the right way!  It is hard to find any of the kids names spelled correctly!
Since Eddie did the Jr. ROTC Marine program at school this year, his ornament was the Marine symbol, Semper Fi!
The finished tree!  The kids did a great job decorating it!
Ethel is always in the Christmas spirit...NOT!  She hates this hat, but the kids always put it on her!
Eddie cooked the Christmas Eve steaks and did a great job!
My three kids, Kelli, Kaila and Eddie!
Kaila and her new penguin blanket.  The penguin is the mascot of her sorority.
Kelli and Christmas morning with her IPOD speaker.
 Eddie and his Marines sweatshirt.

Happy 19th Birthday Kaila!

Can't believe Kaila turned 19 on August 1st! Wow has time flown by!

She wanted a new tote bag to take to school.

We were in PA to celebrate!

Opening presents!

Four layer yellow cake with chocolate icing! Yum!

Steelers Training Camp 2011

While we were in PA this summer, we took Kaila to Steelers Training Camp at St. Vincents. She was thrilled, but unfortunately the only autograph we got was this guys, Steely McBeam.

Big Ben who was wearing #78 that day in protest. He wanted the old #78 guy, Max Starks to come back.

Kailas all time favorite....Troy Polamalu

On the field

#17 is Mike Wallace. Kaila was excited to learn that they shared the same birthday!

Mike Tomlin, all in black

Probably Kailas second favorite player and a crowd pleaser, Hines Ward, who grew up in Georgia and went to UGA.

National Donut Day

In honor of National Donut Day, Eddie and I made some donuts. They turned out pretty good.

As usual, my pictures are backwards, so you might want to start at the bottom and work your way up!

Eddie rolled them out and then cut them out.

Kelli enjoyed them!

Kaila helped with the frying!
